You need to make sure that the scholarship does indeed apply to you and that you can meet all the requirements in the given deadline.
Depending on the scholarship schemes that you are looking into, different targeted applicants and requirements may come into play. Indeed, some scholarships have very specific documents or requirements.

The next step after is then to make use of all that research and prepare all the needed documents. Make sure that during this process you still stay updated with the information concerning the scholarship. This includes the documents, timelines and submission deadlines.
Some of the documents you will already have, but others will require you to go and seek them. For example, for English proficiency tests, you will have to take the correct exams, or for reference letters, you will need to ask the correct person to write it for you.
Scholarship schemes like LPDP or Chenvening will require you to submit an LoA (Letter of Acceptance), which other scholarships may not require.

As scholarships come with many advantages, whether it be tuition fee waivers (an amount will be deducted from tuition fees) or a fully funded scholarship, many will apply for them.
In fact, your application will be compared with hundreds or even thousands of applicant’s! Depending on the scholarship, your application may even sometimes be up against other applications from all over the world.
This means that it will be very competitive!
