University of Portsmouth Goes to InCoFiMS

We were at the International Conference on Fisheries and Marine Sciences (InCoFiMS) organised by Universitas Airlangga yesterday (28/9)!

We invited Dr Ian Hendy, (Senior Lecturer of Institute of Marine Sciences, University of Portsmouth) to speak in a keynote session at the conference. His research is based in the mangrove forests of Southeast Sulawesi, where he managed mangroves, seagrass and coral reef monitoring programs and developed research for many teams of scientists!

Dr Ian Hendy talked about how mangroves can benefit the marine ecosystem and how we can take advantage of this to create a sustainable environment.
